Planbox will help Laval Innov spearhead creative concept development to identify innovative projects and increase competitive advantage among regional ecosystem partners

Laval, Quebec — Planbox, the top-ranking agile innovation management solution provider, today announced its platform has been selected by Laval Innov, an independent non-profit organization acting as the innovation hub for one of the largest cities in Canada. Their mission is to mobilize the region’s innovation ecosystem with the support of the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation, the Ministère des Affaires Municipales et de l’Habitation, and the Service de Développement Économique de la Ville de Laval.

Laval Innov is using Planbox as part of their ecosystem enablement initiative to create innovation communities where startups and medium sized enterprises (SME) virtually collaborate and contribute to the collective intelligence of the city’s ecosystem to address complex regional challenges, and identify innovative projects that mutually benefit the city and participating partners. With Planbox, Laval Innov is also providing an engaging platform where SMEs will improve their approach to idea development while simultaneously collaborating to identify the best solutions that are strategically aligned with their business objectives.

“From the start I have been very pleased with the user interface, which is extremely simple and intuitive – certainly a key point for any organization wishing to mobilize people and secure their participation in any creative process,” said François Bilodeau, General Manager at Laval Innov. “Working with the services team at Planbox is a pleasure – the service is fast, courteous and always transparent so that you can plan your own work efficiently.”

Working closely together, Laval Innov will support regional partners in developing challenges through Planbox, and spark conversations and co-creation activities between diverse experts from various sectors that would otherwise not occur without an innovation management platform. “The Planbox team is excited at the opportunity to work with a local non-profit that supports regional enterprises in their pivotal transformation toward sustainable innovation,” said Arthur Liberian, Senior Innovation Consultant at Planbox. “The work Laval Innov does is indispensable to the city as they accelerate the innovation efforts of SMEs looking to improve their competitive positioning on the world stage.
