Agile for Hardware Development and other non-Software Development Activities

About this video

In this Lightning Talk I will describe how our company uses Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile to develop complex medical instruments and clinical assays. We are applying Agile frameworks for all types of hardware development including electrical, mechanical, optical, and micro fluidics. In addition we have teams of biologists and chemists developing new clinical assays and chemical reagents.

Learn how we create “”User Stories”” and “”Definitions of Done”” for these activities and how teams have learned to apply Agile estimation techniques to better understand their workloads and to be able to better predict when development work will be completed.

I will also talk about how we choose to use Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile for a particular project.
