Organisations are complex places where change is often needed. However, it is hard to know what to change, and where to begin.
The Theory of Constraints is a set of thinking tools that brings hard science to social science, allowing us to be methodical in our approach to organisational change. One of the tools – the Current Reality Tree – is discerningly simple to understand and compelling to use. It brings clarity: find where to focus our finite change resources when facing complex situations.
In his talk, Simon will share the Current Reality Tree tool, demonstrate how to use it with some worked examples, and help you gain a better understanding of the organisations in which you work.
