Infinidat Customers Land in the Winner’s Circle

Enterprise and service providers have been advancing digital transformation, data-driven competitive advantages and business impact over the past year by leveraging Infinidat enterprise storage technology. In recognition of their achievements, we are honoring various customers across the world with our Infinidat Customer Awards.

Our group of enterprises and service providers are raising the bar of what can be accomplished with state-of-the-art enterprise storage solutions that substantially increase business value.

The Innovator of the Year Award recognizes the Infinidat customers who have pushed new technological boundaries, leveraging Infinidat solutions. Among the winners in this category is Norfolk Southern Corporation. Continuous innovation is part of their culture, and they applied it to the digital infrastructure, which necessitated the need for a state-of-the-art storage platform. This company in North America made a smart move to tightly link their infrastructure and storage capabilities with their business requirements underpinning their rail network.

Fred Ehlers, VP Information Technology and CIO at Norfolk Southern Corporation, told us, “We move the goods that power our nation’s economy, and we are constantly innovating to deliver for our customers, shareholders, and employees. One of the keyways we’re doing that is by creating a digital infrastructure that backs the strength of our physical rail network, and key to that is ensuring our technology network operates efficiently and seamlessly. One example of our recent innovation efforts was to replace our existing storage arrays with Infinidat, which managed to reduce our hardware costs and lower our total cost of ownership.”

Another winner in this global “Innovator of the Year” category is Fastweb S.p.A in EMEA. This customer emphasizes the nature of the relationship with Infinidat to give them the flexibility, agility, resilience, and confidence to evolve their infrastructure and explore new possibilities that are paying off for them.

Domenico Impelliccieri, Head of FastCloud ICT & SAP Services at Fastweb S.p.A., has been forthcoming with his comments in the aftermath of being awarded an Infinidat Customer Award: “Winning this award from Infinidat is a testament to the relationship we have with Infinidat, sharing a common vision to push the boundaries of enterprise storage for more business value and more efficiency. The opportunity to leverage Infinidat’s storage solutions came at the perfect time and aligned with our needs as an organization to evolve our data infrastructure. We felt we had the capabilities to accelerate and try new things because we had the flexibility and assurance of resilience to keep our business moving forward.”

We are also seeing different organizations rise up to pioneer more effective approaches to digital transformation. Our Pioneer Award recognizes the Infinidat customers who have successfully leveraged Infinidat solutions towards the implementation of digital transformation initiatives. One such customer is XING INC. This company’s story is indicative of so many customer stories we hear, whether posted on Gartner Peer Insights, conveyed to our sales teams or our channel partners, or shared in a blog.

Mr. Yoshihide Imamura, Director of IT Infrastructure Strategy Group at XING Inc., was gracious in receiving the award and sharing the high points of their success story with Infinidat solutions. “I’m excited and honored to accept The Pioneer APJ award from Infinidat on behalf of my company. We consolidated four legacy storage systems into one InfiniBox, simplifying management, saving rack space, decreasing the workload of our operations team, and achieving storage operational cost savings of half a million US dollars over five years, while improving performance. Because we trust the InfiniBox platform’s high quality and positive impact on service, we are able as a company to drive innovation and high value for Japan with guaranteed data availability.”

In addition, our recognition extends to service providers, so many of which rely on Infinidat’s storage and cyber resilient solutions. The Service Provider of the Year Award recognizes the service providers that continuously empower competitive advantage for their customers. A great example as an aggressive, forward-thinking service provider in this category is FreeBit Co., Ltd. They are relentless in their quest to keep their customers ahead of the competition. They are one company that has risen to the challenge to be a trailblazer, and they chose Infinidat to be their supplier of enterprise-class storage. In addition to these up-and-coming, forward-thinking and well-established companies, more than 25% of the Fortune 50 are now Infinidat customers, leveraging the company’s unique value proposition for large enterprises to provide InfiniBox and InfiniGuard as their primary storage, modern data protection, disaster recovery and business continuity, and cyber resilience solutions. If you see the Infinidat Customer Award certificate in some of their offices around the world, you now know what it’s all about.
