Planbox satisfies cloud requirements for the Government of Canada’s procurement vehicle framework.
Montreal, Quebec — Planbox, the pioneering agile innovation management platform, has been awarded a supply arrangement by the Government of Canada. This arrangement now enables Planbox to sell its leading innovation software to the Government of Canada, the Department of National Defence, and other public sector entities, including provincial, territorial, and municipal governments, helping them drive continual transformation for the benefit of their communities and constituents.

To qualify for this framework, Planbox was assessed against the requirements of the SaaS (software-as-a-service) request for supply arrangement (RFSA), and issued a supply arrangement on the basis of meeting all RFSA requirements. Though Planbox already serves several regulated and public sector organizations, this supply arrangement ensures that the company is up-to-par with government security standards and, accordingly, is in a trusted capacity to store and process classified government information related to all innovation management activities.
Previously, Planbox partnered with the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) to “support the RCN’s focus on becoming a more agile, digitally enabled organization,” as well as to improve conditions for investment, and enhance RCN’s overall innovation performance.
In addition to qualifying for the Government of Canada’s RFSA, Planbox has also successfully completed a SOC 2 Type 2 audit of its security, availability, and confidentiality controls, as well as its ISO/IEC 27001:2013, 27017:2015 and 27018:2014 audits, certifying that the company is compliant with the strictest information management and cloud security requirements conforming to globally recognized standards.
