Voyager Innovations , the Manila-based owner of PayMaya , one of the Philippines’ most popular payment and financial services apps, announced today it has raised $167 million in new funding to launch more financial services, including a digital bank. Supabase is the most recent database as a service to catch my eye. It has an elegant API, lovely documentation, and a nice shallow on-ramp which means that you can start doing useful things with it very quickly. I commonly use serverless functions to save content and also to retrieve it. Let’s do that now with Supabase and a couple of Netlify Functions.
