And when I say I learned a little bit of Sanskrit, I mean like a thimbleful. The robo-cheetah is built with a new algorithm that allows it to leap in a lively manner, while navigating the terrain of a grass lawn. This cheetah can run up to a speed of 10 mph, whereas a real cheetah can run at a speed of 60 mph. This new robot has helped researchers understand animal locomotion and how to make future robots move more efficiently.
