Today, I am honored to announce that Palo Alto Networks CloudGenix SD-WAN is recognized as a Leader in the 2020 Gartner WAN Edge Infrastructure Magic Quadrant (MQ). In addition to this recognition, I am also thrilled to share that we moved upwards on our position in the completeness of vision axis, reaffirming that our vision of offering application defined, autonomous SD-WAN, delivered from the cloud is the optimal approach for customers. We believe this is a true testament to our philosophy of increasing the pace of innovation of our acquisitions while remaining customer-focused. As I reminisce on my journey within the SD-WAN space, we believe the results today are outcomes of architectural choices made more than five years ago. While legacy SD-WAN vendors were focused on enabling broadband VPNs to data centers, we recognized the opportunity to deliver the benefits of Next-Generation SD-WAN: to help our customers with cloud migration, dramatically reduce operational overheads and enable work-from-anywhere. Hence, we didn't just build a better Layer 3 router. Instead, we took the initiative to build the industry’s very first Layer 3 to Layer 7 SD-WAN solution that is application defined, autonomous and securely enables the cloud-delivered branch.
