What makes a great event? Speakers who are willing to share their knowledge, successes, and failures in order to help others in their profession; a host who is a leader in the profession and passionate about sharing his wisdom; a keynote speaker who can provide a vision for the future; sponsors with a collaborative mindset and exceptional products and services; and a very cool place to gather.

FutureIT Los Angeles, which will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at BMO Stadium, has all of this and more. Local speakers participating in three panel discussions will share their unique insights in unscripted sessions that get to the heart of what makes them successful; sponsors will lead roundtable discussions on top-of-mind topics like AI, Generative AI, and Automation; James Rinaldi, Executive Director, Innovate@UCLA and Former CIO, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory will be the host for the day; Anat Baron, CEO, Stashwall Inc, Futurist & Brand Builder will kick of the day with a visionary and thought-provoking presentation; and all of this will take place at BMO Stadium.

Here are some cool facts about the stadium provided by Christian Lau, CTO, Los Angeles Football Club and BMO Stadium – and a speaker at the event.

  • BMO Stadium was the first venue to offer guests NFC contactless ticketing back in 2018.
  • BMO Stadium has one of the most robust large venue network infrastructures in the world featuring a carrier agnostic Distributed Antennae System (DAS), guest facing 5G network and WiFi.
  • LAFC has been developing biometric platforms to use face identity tied to AI for ticketing and age verification to sell age gated products without a traditional identification.
  • The use of contactless payments, including Apple Pay, represents roughly 60% of transactions across all events at BMO Stadium.

Come join your local LA colleagues, make new connections, and get a private tour of the stadium.
