These are the incidents we experienced: 7/28 – DNS lookups slow or failing: Amazon’s Route53 DNS service had an outage that affected one availability zone (AZ) in us-east-1, and a small percentage of our infrastructure was in this availability zone. Our on-call engineer became aware of the issue when he was paged by an SLO burn alert.
