But even the best change can annoy or anger those whom it impacts. Why? From our vantage point, we don’t always see the negatives that others will experience. 'By Shannon Perry. Nearly 30,000 bitcoins were seized last year from accounts linked to the illegal Silk Road market. On June 8 th , the United States Marshals Service, the agency responsible for selling property seized from criminals, announced its plans to sell those bitcoins – in 3,000 bitcoin blocks – through an auction at the end of June. The auction occurred Friday, June 27 th and was quite successful.
